The Philippine Aquatics Open Water Swimming Visayas Leg aims to identify and qualify the top-performing Filipino open water swimmers who will advance to the PAI Open Water Swimming Championships / National Tryouts for the 4th Southeast Asia Aquatics Open Water Championships.
This regional qualifying meet will feature a range of open water race distances — 5KM, 10KM, 1500M, 500M, and 250M — providing competitive opportunities for elite swimmers, age-group athletes, and beginners alike.
The event is presented by Sheraton Mactan Cebu and Sugbutri Event Solutions Inc., combining expertise in hospitality and event management to deliver a world-class open water experience.
It is sanctioned by Philippine Aquatics, Inc. (PAI) and held in coordination with the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and Private Partners, as part of ongoing efforts to promote excellence and growth in open water swimming across the Visayas region.
